In order to be transformed into His image, you must abide in Christ. In order to abide you must present yourself to God daily, habitually. The best part? God provides all that is needed. You simply need to believe in Him and what He died to give you. 

The POWER and PURPOSE of the WORD is to be an instrument of transformation…

Transforming prayer:

“We thank You Father that we have been predestined to be transformed into the image of your son, Christ Jesus.

We thank You that we have been rescued from the domain of darkness and transferred into Your kingdom of light.

We are a new creation, we put off the old sinful nature and put on the new!

We thank you Father that we are being renewed in the spirit of our minds. We put on the new self, according to your image in righteousness and purity of truth.                                   

We thank you Father that we see Your glory as in a mirror. We are being transformed into Your image from glory to glory.                                               

We thank You for Your Holy Word, which is able to make us wise through Christ Jesus.

We thank You for Your Holy Word that is breathed by You and profitable for teaching us, for convicting us, for setting us right, the way we were meant to be from the beginning.

We thank You for Your instruction in righteousness, for every good work having been completed, made perfect.

We thank You Father for Your Holy Word that works effectively in us.

We thank You that you have put Your Spirit within us and cause us to desire to do and to do your good and pleasing will. It is Your power in us that enables us to present our bodies, holy and acceptable.

We do not conform to the pattern of this world, but we are transformed by the renewing of our mind.

We look forward to seeing the earth filled with the knowledge of Your glory as the waters cover the sea.

God knew what he was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love him along the same lines as the life of his Son. The Son stands first in the line of humanity he restored. We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in him. After God made that decision of what his children should be like, he followed it up by calling people by name. After he called them by name, he set them on a solid basis with himself. And then, after getting them established, he stayed with them to the end, gloriously completing what he had begun. Romans 8:29 (MSG)

I lack nothing when I put off the old and put on the new as I abide in Christ. The old is gone. Nothing that cannot be in Christ can be in me as I abide. The new is come.

His faith is perfect, lacking nothing. I do not need to rely on my own. I have His.

His strength is perfect, lacking nothing. I do not need to depend on my own. I have His.
