Daily Proclamation: Planting a Harvest with Our Mouth

ISAIAH 55:10-11

As the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and FLOURISH, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is MY WORD that goes out from my mouth; It WILL NOT return to me empty, but WILL ACCOMPLISH what I desire and ACHIEVE THE PURPOSE for which I sent it”

The Lord promises to bless His Word, the seed, the perfect seed that WILL (without any doubt, as God cannot lie) produce a righteous harvest. I am so thankful our only job is to sow those seeds! Not make the seeds, not grow the seeds, just take those perfect and POWERFUL seeds of His Word and sow them by PROCLAIMING them with our mouth and HE does all the rest! What a gift!!!

Looking at the freshly fallen snow this morning and the amazing sunrise (I almost would have missed if I hadn’t looked up) I am reminded of this verse we proclaimed and prayed together at the beginning of our session last Saturday morning. I am again today proclaiming this beautiful promise He gives us in Isaiah.  I am feeling so blessed that we as His people, His Body, we don’t even have to have our own words! He is SO good to even give us the words to pray and proclaim with His power!

Every time I see snow or rain I will be reminded of this promise, and I pray you will too. We speak so many words in a day, lets make it a daily habit together to PROCLAIM His perfect Word,  words that are never empty, to speak OUT LOUD His Word everyday, and lets be encouraged by sharing with each other the as we see the promised harvest those seeds will produce in time!

Thank. You. Jesus.
